Cambodia Red Cross Participates in Southeast Asian Regional Meeting in Myanmar

A four-member delegation from the Cambodian Red Cross participated in the 23rd Southeast Asia Red Cross and Red Crescent Regional Leadership Meeting and the 5th Youth Forum, held in Yangon, Myanmar, from September 7-9, 2026. The meeting was hosted by the Myanmar Red Cross and brought together leaders, officials, and youth from 11 national societies in the Southeast Asian region. Representatives from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) also attended. The Cambodian delegation was led by Yu Lana, Second Deputy Secretary-General, under the directive of Samdech Kittipreah Bun Rany Hun Sen. The delegation also took part in a humanitarian forum under the theme "Unity in Humanitarian Action: Building a Better Tomorrow." The meeting aims to strengthen cooperation in humanitarian activities within the Southeast Asian region and to build a collaborative framework for the future.
