Southern Thailand Development: 10 Years of 'School Kitchen to Home Kitchen' Project Reviewed

The Southern Border Provinces Administration Centre (SIBP) held a meeting to summarize the achievements of its 'School Kitchen to Home Kitchen' project, which has been implemented for 10 years. The project aims to enable young people to return to their hometowns and contribute to the development of the southern border provinces through vocational training. The meeting shared the project's impact on the local community, the growth of participating youths, and their contributions to the regional economy. In particular, it was suggested that improvements in food production and cooking skills have not only enhanced household diets but also created new business opportunities in the region. SIBP indicated its policy to continue and develop this project, supporting more young people to become agents of regional development. This is positioned as part of the Thai government's strategy to stabilize and develop the economy of the southern border provinces.
