Traces of Ancient Healthcare Found in Angkor: Hospital Sites from Jayavarman VII's Era

Cambodia's Ministry of Culture and Heritage has revealed that numerous hospitals (Arogyasala) were built along major routes during the Angkorian period, particularly under Jayavarman VII. While only limited remains exist today, they suggest the presence of an ancient healthcare system.
