The delegation informed the Prime Minister that their business visit to Cambodia was aimed at exploring investment opportunities in several key potential sectors, including infrastructure and real estate, banking and finance, technology, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, energy, transportation and logistics, aviation, agriculture, vocational education and training, and healthcare. In response, Prime Minister Hun Manet welcomed the delegation's interest in exploring investment opportunities in Cambodia's potential sectors. He highlighted the Royal Government's policies and necessary measures to encourage investors, institutional reforms, simplification of procedures, and tax incentives in certain potential sectors to ensure the success and prosperity of investors in Cambodia. The Prime Minister also emphasized the government's commitment to further improve connectivity in infrastructure, including roads, waterways, and railways, as well as air connectivity with international destinations to reduce transportation costs. He further noted that investing in Cambodia offers an opportunity to enter regional and global supply chains, given Cambodia's bilateral and regional free trade agreements. The Prime Minister also underscored the government's commitment to ensuring a resilient, competitive, and secure investment environment in Cambodia. In conclusion, the Prime Minister encouraged the CGCC and GBA Alliance delegation to further strengthen their ties with Cambodian ministries and institutions to seize concrete investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
