Cambodia Ministry of Education Urges Final Check of Exam Details for High School Diploma Candidates

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has instructed candidates for the upcoming High School Diploma Examination, scheduled for August 10, 2026, to re-examine their names, desk numbers, room numbers, and various examination regulations directly at the examination centers on August 9, 2026, starting from 9:00 AM. This directive from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport is to prevent any oversights that could potentially disrupt the candidates' examination. His Excellency Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, emphasized during a recent press conference on the preparation process for the High School Diploma Examination on August 10, 2026, that reviewing one's name and examination center is extremely important and necessary. On August 3, the ministry posted the list of candidates for their awareness of their assigned centers. On August 9, one day before the examination, the lists will be posted again at all 244 examination centers for candidates to check their specific desk and room numbers. Therefore, candidates must arrange their time and travel appropriately according to the examination schedule. Especially, travel must be done with extreme caution to avoid any traffic accidents that could lead to missing the examination. Candidates should clearly consider the distance between their place of residence and the examination center. It is advisable to arrive at the examination center at least one hour before the exam, or even earlier, to avoid traffic congestion or being late. As it is the rainy season, candidates should prepare raincoats and pack their necessary items properly to avoid getting wet. They should wake up early and review their lessons again before heading to the examination center. It is worth noting that the High School Diploma Examination, Series: August 10, 2026, will have its written examination process conducted over two days, August 10-11, 2026. The grading process will take place from August 13 to August 19, 2026. The process of computer-aided scoring, addition, and verification will be conducted from August 20 to August 30, 2026. The printing of examination results will be done on September 1, 2026, and the results will be announced on September 2, 2026, at the written examination centers in all 25 provinces and cities across the country. A total of 151,238 candidates (84,735 female) have registered for this examination, including 37,445 candidates for science streams (22,193 female) and 113,793 candidates for social science streams (62,542 female).
