Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla announced on Saturday that Mao Aplasca, the former Acting Sergeant-at-Arms of the Senate, has been dismissed from service. Remulla stated in a radio interview that the dismissal order for Aplasca was signed on Monday. "Acting Sergeant at Arms of the Senate, and Sergeant at Arms of the Commission on Appointments, we have dismissed him from the service," he said.
