Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has instructed senior government officials that the administration's future depends on their performance, urging every agency to deliver tangible results for the public. Speaking at a meeting with permanent secretaries, agency chiefs, and military commanders in Bangkok, Anutin stated that Thailand must better present its economic potential internationally by improving infrastructure and public services to attract investment. The premier stressed that all involved units must prepare accurate, up-to-date information for negotiations and that civil servants must remain ready to serve the public at all times. He also called for wider use of Thai-made products by government agencies, citing the success of the Thailand Defense Industry Exhibition 2026, which attracted over 4,000 visitors, secured more than 53 business partnerships, and generated at least 500 million baht in economic value. Other matters discussed included talks between the Royal Thai Police and the FBI on combating scam networks, drug trafficking, and human trafficking, along with the launch of a mobile app for police services. The Energy Ministry urged all units to reduce consumption through remote work and limiting unnecessary travel. Furthermore, Anutin instructed relevant government branches to monitor developments in the Middle East, maintain adequate fuel supplies, and clearly explain any price changes to the public. He also ordered preparations for possible flooding and approved central funding to repair infrastructure in five southern provinces.
