Bank Indonesia Launches Domestic Credit Card for QRIS Payments
Bank Indonesia (BI) launched its first domestic credit card, Kartu Kredit Indonesia (KKI), for the retail segment on August 17, 2026. The KKI, available as a digital card, will serve as a new funding source for QRIS transactions.
