Kandal Province Reviews Public Finance Reform Progress, Discusses 2027 Budget Plan

Kandal Province, Cambodia, on the afternoon of September 8, 2026, convened a meeting of the Secretariat of the Public Finance Reform Implementation Team. The meeting reviewed the draft key results for the 2027 detailed action plan and budget. Dim Bora, Deputy Governor of Kandal Province and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Public Finance Reform (PFM) Implementation Team, attended the meeting. Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Governor Dim Bora highly praised and commended the efforts made, especially by all departments under the provincial hall, to ensure that these action plans achieve concrete results. The Deputy Governor strongly expects that the implementation of this development project plan will make a significant contribution to transforming Kandal Province into an economically prosperous province. The meeting was attended by relevant ministries and units implementing Phase 4 of the Public Finance Management Reform Program, the Director of the Provincial Finance Department, technical officials, the Director of the Planning and Investment Department, and many other stakeholders.
