CPP Concludes Political Training for Officials in Prey Veng

The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) held a closing ceremony for a political training course for its party officials and branch representatives on the afternoon of July 18, 2026, in Preah Sdach district, Prey Veng province. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Sbong Sarat, a member of the CPP Central Committee and Chairman of the Prey Veng Provincial Party Committee, and H.E. Huth Bavy, a member of the CPP Central Committee and Head of the Party Working Group for Preah Sdach District. Attendees at the closing event included: Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Party Committee, Heads of Specialized Departments of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee, the Party Working Group for the district, Vice Chairman and members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial CPP Youth, the teaching staff of the Provincial CPP Youth, and trainees comprising Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, and members of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, party committee members from all 11 communes, and party branch representatives. A total of 660 participants, including 130 women, attended the course. This training is believed to have been conducted to strengthen the party's organizational base and enhance the political qualifications of its officials. The CPP places significant emphasis on the activities of its grassroots organizations, aiming to unify the awareness and improve the leadership skills of its members through regular training. Local party organizations play a crucial role in disseminating the party's policies and fostering connections with residents in their communities. Prey Veng province, located in eastern Cambodia, is an agriculturally significant region. The activities of the party organization in this province serve as a foundation for gaining the support of local residents in implementing central government policies.
