Over 160,000 Hectares of Cambodian Farmland Affected by Heavy Rains; Food Security Concerns Limited
Over 160,000 hectares of farmland across Cambodia have been affected by heavy rainfall, though this represents only about 5% of the total rice production area. The Ministry of Agriculture stated that national food security and rice export plans are unlikely to be impacted, and seed provision is being prepared for affected farmers.
