Prabowo Explains Why He Stopped Dancing in Public After Becoming President

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has revealed the reasons behind his decision to refrain from dancing in public after assuming the presidency. He stated that he was advised by experts that such actions were inappropriate for the leader of Indonesia. "I've been told not to dance anymore. Experts feel it's inappropriate for the leader of Indonesia to dance, even though our people enjoy dancing," Prabowo said at the 28th anniversary of PAN in Jakarta on Friday (18/9). Simultaneously, Prabowo also touched upon his habit of delivering speeches without a script. He suggested that only experts and elites dislike this practice. "Those who dislike it are the experts and the elites," he said. Prabowo mentioned that many political and communication experts have advised him to deliver speeches based on a script. However, he asserted that he knows the Indonesian people well and prefers to speak his mind. "But how can I, I just like to speak what's on my mind," he remarked. Prabowo also stated that there are elements attempting to create chaos and funding Indonesian children who do not understand anything to cause disturbances. He believes these elements do not want Indonesia to become a developed nation. "They always want to create chaos, that's all. They pay our children who don't understand anything to cause chaos," Prabowo said. He added that these elements spread this chaos worldwide to deter foreign investment in Indonesia. Prabowo declared that no one is above the law under his leadership and that he will firmly deal with anyone who violates the law in Indonesia. He expressed optimism that the Indonesian people will always support him.
