Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn on Friday visited the construction site of the Sinthay Creek Bridge, which is being built between Thapyay Chaung village and Shwe Myo village in Tatkone Township. The 950 feet long and 13 feet wide bridge is being constructed by the Department of Rural Road Development under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, with a budget of 2.225 billion kyats allocated from the Union Capital Fund. During the inspection, he observed the progress of the bridge construction while reviewing the ongoing work. Later, he met with township-level departmental officials and town elders at Township General Administration Office to discuss regional development activities. The Deputy Speaker also visited the construction site of the Buddhist Missionary Building in Bo Min Yaung Ward of Tatkone Township and inspected the project’s progress.
