Phu Tho Province Courts Russian Investment with Industrial Park Opportunities
Northern Vietnam's Phu Tho Province is actively seeking Russian investment, highlighting its vast industrial parks totaling over 7,000 hectares and its track record of supplying global tech giants like Samsung and Apple, offering new investment opportunities.
Phu Tho Province in northern Vietnam is intensifying its efforts to attract investment from Russia. The province currently boasts 32 industrial parks covering over 7,000 hectares, with 18 of them already operational. These parks are home to major international groups such as Honda, Toyota, and Piaggio, as well as more than 70 supporting enterprises that supply global technology groups including Samsung, Dell, and Apple. Leveraging its existing infrastructure and supply chain strengths, Phu Tho Province is presenting new investment opportunities to Russian investors. The province aims to strengthen cooperation with Russian companies by emphasizing its capacity for high-quality manufacturing and its access to international markets. This initiative aligns with Vietnam's broader strategy of pursuing 'quality-driven growth' through global integration. Under its one-party system, Vietnam prioritizes economic growth and actively seeks foreign investment. In particular, amidst efforts to diversify supply chains and reduce economic reliance on China, Vietnam is exploring new partnerships with countries in Europe and Russia. Phu Tho Province's current move is seen as consistent with Vietnam's overall diplomatic and economic strategy.
