CT Group Partners with ASEAN to Bring Core Technologies to 700 Million People

Vietnamese conglomerate CT Group has announced a new milestone in cooperation with the ASEAN Community, following a meeting between CT Group Chairman Tran Kim Chung and ASEAN Secretary-General Dr. Kao Kim Hourn. This partnership aims to introduce core technologies to serve the nearly 700 million people across the ASEAN region and jointly build a sustainable future. This collaboration signifies a new chapter in the relationship between Vietnam's private sector and the ASEAN Community. CT Group, with 34 years of self-reliance and a deep aspiration for specialized technological development, is actively pursuing this initiative. As part of these efforts, Da Nang University has signed cooperation agreements with CT Group, with implementation taking place in Ho Chi Minh City. Furthermore, in Tay Ninh province, CT Group is working to create exemplary products in drone technology. The company also emphasizes its contribution to the education sector. In recognition of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20th), CT Group plans to donate agricultural robots to Can Tho University, an initiative led by the group's UAV Lab. These developments highlight Vietnam's potential to contribute its technological innovations to the broader region. Under its one-party system, Vietnam has been accelerating investments in advanced technology sectors, and this move signifies its intent to share these advancements through the ASEAN framework. Strengthening ties with ASEAN nations is also a crucial aspect of Vietnam's diplomatic and economic strategy, particularly amidst complex relations with China.
