Vietnam, Austria's Tyrol State Boost Strategic Tech Cooperation

On July 22, Vietnam's Ambassador to Austria, Vu Le Thai Hoang, met with Governor Thomas Stelzer in Tyrol State, Austria. The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation in various fields including trade, investment, science-technology, education, labor, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges. Vienna expressed readiness to share its experience in smart urban management and support the Vietnamese community. Vietnam and Austria also agreed to strengthen cooperation in firefighting, rescue operations, and disaster response capabilities. Austria expressed interest in cooperating with Vietnam to enhance the capacity of its foreign affairs officials and also showed willingness to collaborate on strengthening the capabilities of UN peacekeeping forces. Furthermore, cultural exchange through children's literature is being fostered between the two countries, serving as a bridge connecting their cultures.
