Cambodian Foreign Minister Reiterates Regret Over Thailand's MOU Withdrawal at UN

Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn, addressing the UN General Assembly, expressed regret over Thailand's unilateral termination of the 2001 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) concerning maritime dispute resolution. He stated Cambodia was compelled to initiate conciliation proceedings under UNCLOS, also highlighting displacement of residents due to land border disputes and calling for peaceful resolution.
