IKN Spokesperson Troy Pantouw Passes Away, Potential Impact on Nusantara Capital Project

The family of the Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) expressed condolences following the passing of Troy Harold Yohanes Pantouw (Troy Pantouw), the Special Staff to the Head of the IKN Authority for Public Communication, or IKN Authority Spokesperson, on Saturday, July 25, 2026. As a final tribute to the deceased, the following procession will be held: - A consolation and departure service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 9:30 PM WITA until completion, at the Bethany FOG Ringroad Church in Balikpapan. - Departure from Balikpapan to Jakarta on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 6:10 AM WITA. - Reception of the body at the Funeral Home on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM WIB, at the Sentosa Funeral Home & Crematorium, Room C-D, Central Jakarta. - Official handover of the body and funeral procession will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM WIB. The burial location is TPU Tanah Kusir Blok AA 1 Blad 168, South Jakarta. This sad news was conveyed through an upload on the official Instagram account of the IKN Authority, @ikn_id, as well as the personal Instagram account of the Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, @basukihadimuljono. Both accounts featured a condolence post complete with a photo of Troy Pantouw. The man, whose full name is Troy Harold Yohanes Pantouw, served as the Special Staff to the Head of the IKN Authority for Public Communication. Born on May 8, 1968, he breathed his last at the age of 58. "Our deepest condolences on the passing of Troy Harold Yohanes Pantouw, Special Staff to the Head of the IKN Authority for Public Communication. May he be given the best place in the presence of God Almighty, and may the bereaved family be given fortitude and strength," read the official Instagram post of the IKN Authority on Saturday (25/7/2026). The deceased was known to have breathed his last at Hermina Hospital in the IKN area. Troy Pantouw was known to have been involved in overseeing public communication related to IKN for a long time. Throughout his career at the IKN Authority, Troy went through various important phases in the development of IKN since its early stages.
