The General Department of Immigration of Cambodia has reported on its work progress for the first half of 2026 to the Ministry of Interior's Radio and Television Station. Director General Sok Vasna detailed the achievements made during this period. This reporting initiative stems from directives issued by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sar Sokha. The Minister had previously instructed all General Departments, Directorates, and similar units under the Ministry of Interior, as well as provincial and municipal administrations, to provide interviews regarding their first-half work progress to the Ministry's Radio and Television Station. The objective of these interviews is to allow each unit to present its accomplishments. The Cambodian government is aiming for economic growth by promoting foreign investment and tourism while maintaining national security.
