Kandal Deputy Governor Visits Wife of Hero Soldier and Newborn

Kandal Provincial Deputy Governor Mrs. Srun Sreynang, along with authorities from S'ang District, met and offered well wishes to Mrs. Poy Map, wife of a hero soldier stationed at the Air Defense Division No. 3 in Preah Vihear Province, and their newborn baby. The visit took place on the afternoon of August 31, 2026, in Kok Andet Village, S'ang Phnom Commune, S'ang District, Kandal Province. During the meeting, Mrs. Srun Sreynang conveyed greetings and well wishes from H.E. Kuoch Chamroeun, Governor of Kandal Province. She emphasized the continuous attention and close support from the leadership and the people on the home front to the hero soldiers and their families. Mrs. Sreynang expressed gratitude and offered encouragement to Mrs. Map and her family for their sacrifice in allowing their husband and relatives to serve as soldiers, bravely fulfilling their duty to protect the territorial integrity of the nation from enemy invasion. The gifts presented to the wife of the hero soldier included 25 kilograms of rice, one box of instant noodles, one bunch of salted fish, one bunch of fish sauce, one bottle of soy sauce, one box of mineral water, adult and children's clothing, one package of krama, and 1 million Riel (approximately 250 USD) in cash.
