Cambodia to Host Job and Productivity Fair: Over 35,000 Jobs, Career Guidance Offered

The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training announced that the "National Job and Productivity Fair 2026" will be held in Phnom Penh on September 12-13. Sun Messa, the ministry's spokesperson, emphasized that the fair is not only a platform for job opportunities but also a crucial venue for youth, students, and job seekers to understand market-demanded skills and plan their future careers. Under the theme "Skills and Jobs: Productivity for Sustainable Economic Growth," the fair is expected to attract approximately 150 companies, factories, and large enterprises. These participants are set to offer over 35,000 job openings. Messa explained that the event provides an excellent opportunity for job seekers, those looking to change jobs, or individuals considering a career shift to directly understand employer needs and gather information on skills, benefits, and salaries offered by various companies. It is also anticipated to be a space where participants can engage with career counselors and private sector experts for personalized advice on suitable skills and career paths. A notable feature this year is the "Job Garden," a new area where job seekers can directly apply for positions and undergo interviews. Professionals will also be available to guide those who may need assistance with resume preparation or interview skills. The ministry urges high school graduates, general job seekers, and workers seeking new employment to actively participate in the fair, highlighting it as a valuable chance to gain employment information, understand market demands, and interact directly with employers.
