Banteay Meanchey Health Department Urges High Attention to Improving Healthcare Service Quality for Citizens

The Banteay Meanchey Provincial Health Department has strongly urged all hospitals and health centers across the province to continue efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare services provided to citizens, ensuring 24-hour availability seven days a week without interruption. This directive was issued during a performance review meeting for August 2026, held on the afternoon of September 21, 2026, under the leadership of Dr. Le Chansawath, Director of the Provincial Health Department. Approximately 130 participants, including deputy directors, heads of offices, health program managers, district operational health office chiefs, provincial, municipal, and district referral hospital chiefs, and health center chiefs from across the province, attended in person and via Zoom. During the meeting, Dr. Le Chansawath clearly emphasized the unwavering vision and stance in the province's health sector, stating that promoting the well-being of the people is the core and utmost priority task. All health facilities within Banteay Meanchey Province must strengthen their sense of responsibility and enhance their capacity to provide higher quality, more efficient, and effective health services to the public, based on professional ethics and love for patients. Ensuring 24/7 service provision is particularly required. In addition to providing recommendations, the Director led the meeting in a rigorous review and evaluation of the work achieved in the previous month, comparing it directly against planned activities and indicators. Simultaneously, participants raised practical challenges encountered at their respective locations to jointly discuss and find immediate, appropriate, and effective solutions. The meeting also focused on organizing the direction for the following month's work and strengthening cooperation among all relevant units to ensure that all health operational systems, from the provincial level down to remote health centers, operate smoothly and respond promptly to the health needs of all citizens in Banteay Meanchey Province.
