Vietnam Dismantles Online Scam Network, Deports 34 Foreigners
Vietnamese authorities have uncovered and rescued 34 foreigners, including 31 Filipinos, 2 Chinese, and 1 Malaysian, who were brought into the country on tourist visas and forced to work for an online scam operation in Quang Ninh province. The network was dismantled before it could perpetrate scams, and the individuals have been repatriated.
