Jakarta Transportation Agency Launches 24/7 Emergency Call Center 'SIAP 1500813'
The Jakarta DKI Transportation Agency has launched a 24/7 call center, 'SIAP 1500813,' to handle complaints related to transportation and roads. It offers five services, including vehicle towing, emergency response, and road infrastructure complaints.
The Jakarta DKI Transportation Agency has launched the Call Center SIAP 1500813, a 24-hour service channel for the public to report issues related to transportation and traffic in Jakarta. Operating under the theme "One Number, Jakarta Transportation Solution," this service runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Call Center 1500813 offers five services: vehicle towing, guidance for emergency conditions, guidance for hearses, complaints about road and traffic infrastructure, and handling of road incidents. The service is supported by 52 officers who work in rotation 24/7, with a target response time of a maximum of 15 minutes, depending on traffic and on-site conditions. Jakarta DKI Governor Pramono Anung stated that the service was introduced to make it easier for the public to receive fast and convenient assistance. "We present Call Center 1500813 as an easily accessible, fast-responding, and humane service channel for the public. From emergency situations to complaints about road infrastructure, people just need to contact one number," Pramono said in a statement on Sunday (8/8/2026). Head of the Jakarta DKI Provincial Transportation Agency, Budi Awaluddin, explained that the public can use the service to report various conditions on the road, such as vehicles experiencing problems, traffic lights being out, damaged road facilities or signs, accidents, fallen trees, and other incidents that disrupt traffic safety and smoothness. For towing services, there is no charge for residents within the DKI Jakarta area, while areas in Bodetabek will incur a retribution fee according to regulations. "The public simply needs to contact 1500813 and provide the location, time of the incident, a brief chronology, and a contact number. This information will help officers respond according to the field conditions," Budi stated. Budi added that the Call Center 1500813 remains accessible to the public even though the Transportation Agency is currently relocating officers following a fire at the Technical Service Building on Friday (7/8). Call Center officers have been relocated to the Transportation Data Center (Pusdatin Perhubungan) office in MT Haryono to ensure the service continues to operate.
