Thai Military Allegedly Attempting to Redraw Maps Incorporating Cambodian Border Encroachments, Expert Warns
A Cambodian border affairs expert has warned that the Thai military is attempting to create new maps that incorporate areas encroached upon and illegally occupied from Cambodian territory. The expert pointed out that according to previous maps, historical sites like Ta Moant Thom temple are within Cambodian land. These unilateral mapping efforts by Thailand could escalate tensions between the two nations.
