Vietnamese Army Donates 'Comrade Homes' to Soldiers in Difficult Circumstances

The 929th Regiment of the 372nd Division, Vietnam People's Army, has announced the completion and handover of two 'Comrade Homes' to two soldiers facing significant financial hardship. Each home, approximately 100 square meters, was built with financial support of 60 million VND per family. The handover ceremony took place in Da Nang on July 30-31, in coordination with local authorities and the soldiers' families. The recipients were Warrant Officer Bui Sy Hoang, a missile preparation station technician in the technical department, and Captain Nguyen Vu Tai, an operations assistant in the staff department of the 929th Regiment. Investigations revealed that both soldiers were experiencing housing difficulties. Based on these findings, the regiment secured funding support from the Air Defense-Air Force for the construction of these 'Comrade Homes'. After more than three months of construction, with the assistance of local authorities, labor contributions from fellow soldiers, and the efforts of the families, the houses were completed on schedule and to a high standard. The handover was met with great joy and enthusiasm from the soldiers' families and colleagues. This initiative is also seen as a tribute to the upcoming 81st anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945) and the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945). The program aims to help soldiers in difficult circumstances stabilize their lives, focus on their duties, and successfully complete their assigned missions.
