LTFRB Summons 34 PUV Operators for Joining Iglesia ni Cristo Rally

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has summoned 34 public utility vehicle (PUV) operators to a hearing on July 9 after they were found participating in an Iglesia ni Cristo rally on EDSA instead of operating their routes. This action is due to the violation of their Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) terms, which prohibit service cessation as a protest measure detrimental to public interest.
