Chulabhorn Royal Academy Holds Orientation for 514 New Students

Chulabhorn Royal Academy has organized an orientation program for new students for the academic year 2026. This program welcomed 514 new undergraduate students from six faculties, aiming to prepare them academically, help them adapt to university life, and instill the university's philosophy of 'Be Excellent for Lives.' The event commenced with a merit-making ceremony, offering alms to nine monks for good fortune. Following this, a "Fostering Bonds with New Students" activity, organized by the Student Council, created an atmosphere of connection and friendship between senior and junior students. A video titled "10 Years of Chulabhorn Royal Academy" was then shown, detailing the institution's decade-long journey of success, followed by a performance from the CRA Cheerleader and Color Guard club. Professor Dr. Rachta Rachatanavin, Acting Deputy Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, delivered a welcome address and offered advice to the new students, emphasizing, "Entering Chulabhorn Royal Academy is a crucial starting point for learning. Students will receive comprehensive development, including knowledge, professional skills, morality, ethics, and innovation, to grow into quality personnel ready to face challenges and drive forward both national and international public health systems." Captain Dr. Rungporn Saeng-aram also gave a special lecture titled "When My Dreams Take Flight," sharing valuable experiences to inspire students to think boldly, take action, and diligently develop their potential to become vital contributors to health sciences and society. University executives and deans from all faculties also extended their welcome, providing guidance on teaching approaches, learning resources, student welfare, and extracurricular activities to ensure new students can adapt and succeed in their studies, aligning with the institution's commitment. Currently, Chulabhorn Royal Academy is dedicated to offering diverse programs in medicine, nursing, health sciences, biomedical engineering, and innovation, aiming to produce graduates capable of responding to the nation's health system development needs.
