Arab Investors Propose High-Tech and Halal Industrial Parks in Vietnam's Quang Ninh

The 'Halal Industrial Park' is envisioned as a modern complex for Halal production, processing, logistics, and services, adhering to international standards and Islamic law. Bui Van Khang, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, instructed relevant departments to guide investors in conducting surveys and finalizing their proposals, assessing their feasibility within the province's master plan. Following their visit to Quang Ninh, the Arab Business Council and MHGroup also met with the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee to explore investment in a Halal Industrial Park. MHGroup proposed building a closed-loop ecosystem encompassing production, processing, logistics, services, human resource training, consulting, certification, and trade promotion. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee, assigned the Department of Finance to act as the focal point for providing information on planning, land availability, and investment-attracting projects. He also urged both parties to quickly agree on specific details for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Established in August 2023 in Hanoi, MHGroup specializes in multi-sector management consulting and international trade promotion. Besides Quang Ninh and Hung Yen, the company, in conjunction with the Arab Business Council, has previously engaged with other localities such as Da Nang and Tuyen Quang to survey and research investment projects. Quang Ninh and Hung Yen are among the top 10 most attractive provinces for large businesses in 2025, according to Vietnam Report. Quang Ninh currently hosts nearly 240 active FDI projects with a total registered capital of nearly $16 billion USD. Hung Yen has approximately 970 FDI projects with a total registered capital exceeding $18 billion USD.
