Cambodia: Support for Preah Vihear Troops, Gifts from Prime Minister and Wife

A delegation from Cambodia's Ministry of Rural Development delivered aid and cash from Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife to armed forces stationed in Preah Vihear province. In Chanthar, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Rural Development, acting on behalf of Minister Chhay Rithisen, led the delegation, accompanied by officials including Undersecretary of State San Visal. The group checked on the well-being of the soldiers and expressed gratitude for their dedicated contributions to defending national territory and maintaining peace. The aid, a generous gift from Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife, Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, included essential supplies and cash. These were presented to General Hing Bunheang, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander of the Bodyguard Unit, as well as the soldiers serving in the unit. The armed forces expressed their sincere joy and deep appreciation for the consistent attention and provision of aid and equipment from the Prime Minister and his wife, as well as Minister Chhay Rithisen. They pledged to safeguard these achievements and continue to serve the nation with greater excellence.
