Vietnam to Significantly Increase 'Service Support' for High-Ranking Officials
The Vietnamese government has issued a new decree, effective July 20, to significantly increase the 'service support' allowance for officials managed by the Politburo and Secretariat, as well as high-ranking officers in the military and public security forces. The highest monthly allowance will be VND 2.7 million (approximately $105 USD), an increase of up to VND 2.3 million from the current system.
