In his follow-up question, he included the aforementioned point. "As the minister mentioned earlier, I understand the security measures being taken. However, behind this bridge closure, there is the enrichment of a group of people and illegal trade. Illegal trade, which the President of the Republic always speaks about. As we presented earlier, there are incidents like 36 million kyats per day, and at the jetty, 1.8 million kyats per day. If the bridge is closed, other routes must also be closed. Instead, how will illegal trade, corruption, and criminal acts be prevented and acted upon? " U Kyaw Thant San asked. He continued, "After this bridge was closed, three major issues arose. First, corruption. Second, illegal smuggling entered through this illegal route. We knew about it but could not apprehend them. Third, illegal arms sales occurred in the region.
