Each family received a relief package consisting of 25 kilograms of rice, a case of instant noodles, a dozen bottles of fish sauce, a dozen bottles of soy sauce, a dozen cans of fish, a clothing kit, sarongs, and krama (scarves), along with 250,000 Cambodian Riel (approximately $62.50 USD). Governor Kuoch Chamroeun conveyed condolences from Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, emphasizing the organization's commitment to assisting disaster victims without discrimination based on race, religion, class, tradition, color, or political affiliation. He expressed regret over the damage to homes and property, acknowledging that natural disasters are unpredictable.
