Khánh Hòa: Major Fire Destroys Numerous Vehicles at Parking Lot

A major fire broke out at a parking lot in Nha Trang city, Khánh Hòa province, central Vietnam, early on July 21st, completely destroying numerous cars. The blaze resulted in the loss of several vehicles, including some high-value cars, and damaged others due to the fire's spread. The fire was reported around 1:30 AM at a parking lot near To Huu Street. Upon receiving the report from residents, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police of Khánh Hòa province immediately deployed to the scene. Four fire trucks and dozens of officers worked to extinguish the blaze, which was brought under control by approximately 2:00 AM. Observations at the scene indicated the severity of the fire, with many vehicles completely consumed by flames. Fortunately, no human casualties were reported as a result of the incident. Authorities have cordoned off the area and are currently conducting on-site inspections and investigations to determine the cause of the fire. As Vietnam's economy grows, the number of car owners has increased. However, concerns have been raised about infrastructure development and safety measures keeping pace. In particular, fires in densely packed parking lots can be exacerbated by factors such as vehicle proximity and inadequate fire suppression equipment.
