Phu Quoc Island, a resort destination in southern Vietnam, is rapidly emerging as a new popular destination for South Korean tourists, thanks to massive infrastructure upgrades and the proliferation of luxury resorts. While Da Nang was once the primary choice, many Koreans now refer to Phu Quoc as the 'Jeju of Vietnam,' with direct flights from Incheon and the island's appeal driving the influx.
