Vietnam Eliminates Need for Residence Certificates with VNeID Information Access
Effective July 1st, Vietnam will no longer require citizens to submit or present residence certificates. This change, enabled by accessing information through the VNeID app and the national population database, aims to ease burdens on citizens. Issuance of certificates will still be available upon request.
