Displaced Civilians Await Return as Border Tensions Persist; ASEAN Observer Team Visits Affected Areas
Thousands of Cambodian families displaced by the Cambodia-Thailand border conflict remain unable to return home due to unresolved border issues. An ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) visited affected communities in Banteay Meanchey province on June 16, emphasizing the urgent need for border demarcation. Approximately 28,460 people are still displaced.
