Myanmar Military Regains Control of Mawlu, Securing Key Logistics Hub

The Myanmar military announced on May 5 that it has regained full control of Mawlu, Sagaing Region. Situated on the Shwebo-Myitkyina highway, the town is a critical logistics node. Security forces are now clearing surrounding areas to restore transport connectivity along the Mawlu-Nansiaung corridor.
