Cambodia Urges MOU Partners to Strengthen Drug Abuse Prevention Efforts

The National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD) of Cambodia has underscored the critical role of its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) partners in promoting educational campaigns about the dangers of drug abuse, urging for strengthened collaboration. Speaking on behalf of Secretary General Meas Virith during a meeting to review the progress of MOU implementation, Brigadier General Lim Tong Huot, Director of the Department of Education, Dissemination, and Public Relations, conveyed appreciation and commendation from the NACD. This commendation was directed towards all MOU partners for their dedicated efforts in implementing the contents of their respective MOUs with the NACD, each within their own sector. Brigadier General Lim Tong Huot further elaborated that MOU partners continue to be indispensable in supporting the work of disseminating and educating the general public, as well as audiences and supporters across the fields of arts, sports, and television, about the issues surrounding drug abuse. He consequently requested all partners to examine the feasibility of continuing their work and cooperation with the National Authority for Combating Drugs. It is noteworthy that in the past, the NACD has signed MOUs with several organizations, including the Khmer Artists Association, the Kun Khmer Boxing Federation, the Cambodia E-esports Federation, Galaxy Company, Hang Meas Company, and BKL Company.
