Pattaya Police Station Becomes Unlikely Haven for Lost Dogs

PATTAYA, Thailand – The Pattaya City Police Station is increasingly becoming an unexpected stopover for lost dogs. After recently reuniting a Siberian Husky with its owner, officers are now caring for a small Pomeranian. The dog was found by a good Samaritan near Soi 13 on Pattaya Beach Road and brought to the station. Police have agreed to temporarily house the animal while searching for its owner. The Pomeranian has quickly become a familiar sight around the station, wandering among officers and charming members of the public visiting for official business. Police Chief Pol Col Anek Srathongyu and his driver, who also assisted with the lost Husky named "Chiel," have once again found themselves in the role of temporary dog carers, alongside the station's public relations officer. With the Pomeranian now safely under police care, officers are appealing to its owner to come forward. Anyone who recognizes the dog can contact the Pattaya City Police Station to arrange its return.
