Nippon Paint Indonesia has launched 'Pylox Premium', an innovative new spray paint designed to meet the evolving needs of the Indonesian automotive aftermarket. This launch signifies a continuation of Pylox's long-standing presence in the Indonesian automotive industry, which began in 1971. Repainting a motorcycle is more than just a color change for many users; it's a way to restore its appearance, refresh dull or scratched parts, and add a personal touch. Recognizing this demand, Nippon Paint Indonesia has introduced Pylox Premium, a spray paint specifically engineered for motorcycle finishing. Over its more than five decades in the market, Pylox has adapted to changing painting requirements in Indonesia and is recognized as a widely used spray paint brand for various applications. Mark Liew, General Manager (TU Division) of Nippon Paint Indonesia, highlighted that evolving consumer needs have driven Pylox to develop products that better align with market demands. He noted, "Consumer needs are changing. Modification now doesn't always mean extreme changes. Many consumers actually want their motorcycles to look more personal, more refined, more premium, or even to return to their original, elegant color." In response to these trends, Pylox Premium offers a more diverse selection of colors, totaling 77 new shades, including 32 original motorcycle colors. "We are introducing a total of 77 new color options, including 32 original motorcycle colors. The reason for so many choices is user demand; motorcycles are now used not just for modification, but also for restoration or returning them to their original appearance," Liew explained. Liew further elaborated that these color offerings are supported by Nippon Paint's extensive experience in the automotive industry. Since 1971, Nippon Paint has been a supplier of original colors to several motorcycle manufacturers. "We are now bringing that experience, from everything we supply directly to factories, to the retail level with Pylox Premium," he stated. Pylox Premium is engineered with high quality for automotive applications, particularly for motorcycles. The spray paint delivers a highly aesthetic finish with its high gloss, providing a premium and sophisticated look. Its formulation is also quick-drying, making the application process much more practical. For ease of use and durability, Pylox Premium is equipped with an adjustable nozzle that allows for precise spray control both vertically and horizontally. The paint layer is designed to be non-cracking and resistant to gasoline splashes, ensuring the motorcycle's color remains vibrant, neat, and protected during daily use. Beyond product enhancement, Pylox aims to expand its involvement within the automotive ecosystem, engaging with partner stores, workshops, and motorcycle communities. "We want Pylox to grow bigger, not just in terms of products, but in how Pylox comes closer to consumers and communities," said Liew. Liew believes that collaboration with various parties is a crucial element in this new phase for Pylox Premium. He emphasized that a product's strength is built not only through its presence in stores but also through direct user experience. "We want to invite everyone present not just to be a place where Pylox is stocked, but to be part of how we collectively build an even stronger Pylox brand in the market," he concluded.
