Hun Mana Donates 336th 'Angel House' to Needy Family in Takeo, Includes Solar Power and Aid
Hun Mana has donated the 336th 'Angel House' to a disadvantaged family in Takeo province. The recipient, a widower raising six children, also received a solar power system and numerous aid packages.
On the morning of Monday, July 13, 2026, Madam Hun Mana, Director General of Bayon Radio-Television, presented another 'Angel House' to Mr. Chim Socheat, 36, residing in Prey Kduch village, Trapeang Kro’ung commune, Tram Kak district, Takeo province. Mr. Socheat is a widower who lost his wife last year in a traffic accident, leaving him to raise six young children (2 boys, 4 girls, with the eldest son having become a monk). Last year, the couple was riding a motorcycle to work when they collided with a cow and fell. A truck driving along the same road then ran over and killed the wife instantly. The husband suffered a broken shoulder but survived. Currently, the family does not own a house and is temporarily living in a house provided by relatives, with no assets to rely on. On this occasion, Madam Hun Mana conveyed the regards and well wishes from Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Kittipreah Bun Rany Hun Sen, as well as from Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet and Madam Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, to all the elders present. The message emphasized that they always care about the well-being of citizens everywhere and at all times. In addition to the house, Madam Hun Mana also provided a solar power system for the front and interior of the house. She also brought additional aid packages from Samdech Techo and Samdech Kittipreah, including 100kg of rice, 1 case of canned fish, 5 cases of instant noodles, 1 case of condensed milk, 1 case of cooking oil, 1 large box of coconut oil, 1 large box of menthol oil, 1 iron pot, 1 small pot, 1 large pot, 1 frying pan, 1 serving spatula, 1 rice spatula, 1 soup spatula, a set of spoons and forks, 1 bottle of Camellia oil, 5 rice bowls, 5 soup bowls, 1kg of tea, 2 pillows, 2 mosquito nets, 2 blankets, 2 mats, 5kg of sugar, 3 bottles of soy sauce, 1 FM radio, 2 radio batteries, 2 pairs of shoes, 5 sets of toothbrushes and toothpaste, 12 small bars of soap, 5 small boxes of medicine, 2 sets of clothes, and 1 million Riel in cash. Packages of daily necessities, clothing, and cash from Samdech Techo and Samdech Kittipreah were also distributed to the elders attending the event.
