
Vietnam Handles Nearly 20,000 Smuggling, Counterfeit Cases in H1
Vietnamese authorities uncovered and handled nearly 44,000 cases related to smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods in the first half of 2026. This led to 1,464 criminal cases and the prosecution of 2,277 suspects. A criminal ring smuggling diamonds from Hong Kong was also dismantled.
