Two New Officials Appointed to Lai Chau Provincial Party Standing Committee

Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee in northern Vietnam announced the appointment of two new officials to its Standing Committee for the 2025-2030 term: Mr. Ha Trong Hai, currently the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Ms. Dao Thi Lan Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Doan Ket Ward. The announcement was made during a provincial Party Committee meeting held on September 10. The Central Secretariat approved the appointments in its Decision No. 354-QĐNS/TW dated September 3. Mr. Le Minh Ngan, Secretary of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, stated that the appointments represent the Central Party's recognition of the two officials' dedication, achievements, and contributions during their tenure. He emphasized the Central Party's confidence in their qualities, capabilities, and suitability for significant responsibilities. Secretary Ngan highlighted that the role of a Standing Committee member is not only an honor for the individuals but also a significant responsibility to the Provincial Party organization, the government, and the ethnic communities within the province. He urged the newly appointed members to leverage their experience, continuously learn and improve their work capacity, and proactively propose practical and effective solutions for their assigned areas. Representing the newly appointed members, Mr. Ha Trong Hai affirmed his commitment to strive alongside the collective of the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee to successfully implement the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, as well as various programs, plans, and projects for the overall development of the province. This personnel decision is part of the process of selecting and appointing cadres at the local level within Vietnam's one-party system, demonstrating how the central government cultivates and places individuals to lead administrative and Party affairs in the provinces. Continued economic growth in Vietnam relies heavily on effective leadership and implementation at the grassroots level.
