Pham Thanh Thao, once a popular singer and MC in Vietnam, is now living a quiet and peaceful life with her husband and two children in Massachusetts, USA. Ten years into her marriage, she has stepped away from the singing world to focus on building her family. The couple utilizes a portion of their expansive 6,000 sqm property, approximately 150 sqm, to cultivate various herbs, gourds like zucchini and bitter melon, and fruit trees. Her husband, who enjoys cooking, is also passionate about gardening. To cope with the region's harsh climate, characterized by long winters and short summers, they start seeds indoors early and transplant seedlings to the garden once the weather warms up. While many crops are susceptible to frost, plants like chives, celery, and basil have shown resilience, sprouting again in spring. Her husband has installed an automatic irrigation system that waters the garden twice daily and hired help for regular weeding every weekend, ensuring the garden remains clean and lush. For his love of spicy food, they planted up to 150 chili pepper plants in one year, processing the harvest into homemade chili paste for later use. Thao finds joy in watching the plants bloom and bear fruit, and in harvesting vegetables like water spinach and malabar spinach, or a few tomatoes, for their family's meals each afternoon. Since getting married, she has largely set aside her passion for singing to nurture her home. Occasionally, she accepts invitations to perform at churches or participate in charity events for the Vietnamese community. When traveling for performances, she entrusts her two children to their paternal grandparents. Her husband is busy with his work in immigration services, visa applications, and tax filings. Additionally, he holds a real estate license and has been involved in property investment, including buying land and building new houses for sale over the past five years. With a stable economy, the couple's primary goal is to raise their children to be good and compassionate individuals. Thao frequently brings her sons along to charity trips, hoping they will develop empathy and compassion from a young age. Pham Thanh Thao, 47, was known for songs such as "Mừng tuổi mẹ," "Đời mẹ," "Ngày xưa ơi," and "Áo dài ơi." In 2015, she married businessman and musician Vo Nguyen Truong Son and moved to the US.
