
Brutal Mob Attack in Sukabumi Leaves Victim Dead, Bystanders Feared to Intervene
On the evening of May 2, 2026, a man was brutally attacked and killed by a mob in Sukabumi Regency, West Java. The victim, who was riding a three-wheeled motorcycle, was repeatedly assaulted with blunt objects and stones. Despite the incident occurring on a busy road, eyewitnesses were too intimidated by the large number of assailants to intervene. Police are currently working to identify the perpetrators.
