Ho Chi Minh City to Expand Le Van Luong Street Sixfold to Ease Southern Traffic

Ho Chi Minh City plans a significant sixfold expansion of Le Van Luong Street, a key southern artery, from its current 6-8 meters to 30-40 meters. The VND 9.9 trillion (approx. $400 million) project, slated to begin construction in 2027 and complete in 2029, aims to alleviate chronic traffic congestion and flooding, and stimulate regional economic growth.
