Thai SME Support Program Exceeds 1 Billion Baht in Economic Value, Enhancing Competitiveness

The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) has announced the success of its Business Development Service (BDS) program. The project has generated economic value exceeding 1 billion baht for the Thai economy, significantly contributing to the enhancement of small and medium-sized enterprises' (SMEs) international competitiveness. Through this project, OSMEP has substantially expanded its network of service providers that support SMEs. As a result, the network has grown to 401 entities, establishing a system capable of offering specialized business development services to a wider range of SMEs. This expansion marks a crucial step towards achieving OSMEP's goal of equipping Thai SMEs with the 'weapons' needed to compete in the global market. This initiative is part of the Thai government's SME promotion policy, aiming to strengthen SMEs, which are essential for the sustainable growth of the domestic economy and job creation.
