Khoy Rida, Chairman of the Cambodia Red Cross Poipet Provincial Branch Committee, along with members of the provincial branch committee, honorary members, heads of provincial departments, local authorities, youth Red Cross volunteers, and students from Hun Sen Bak Chean High School, totaling 1,200 participants. H.E. the Chairman conveyed greetings and warm regards from afar from Samdech Kittipote Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodia Red Cross, to all those present. H.E. added that to prepare for the effective implementation of work in accordance with the high recommendations of Samdech Kittipote, the President of the Cambodia Red Cross, he provided advice and assigned duties to the youth Red Cross volunteers as follows: - To be a good role model, representing youth among their peers. - To respect school discipline, study diligently, and prepare to be successors in humanitarian activities. - To participate in widely disseminating the seven fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and humanitarian activities. - To implement the "Friend Educates Friend, Friend Helps Friend" activities and provide encouragement to disabled student youth. - To be a good example in respecting traffic laws, wearing safety helmets correctly at all times when driving or riding. - To participate in educating about hygiene, environment, traffic safety, and preventing various infectious diseases, and to stay away from drugs. - To uphold noble conduct, respect discipline, and possess morality to become good children, good students, and good friends. H.E. expressed strong confidence that after completing the basic training (including understanding the Red Cross and Red Crescent, the roles and duties of youth, and basic rescue skills), all the youth will disseminate this knowledge further. Especially, they must continue to develop themselves into valuable human capital and youth who walk the right path, as youth are the pillars and hope of guardians and the entire nation.
