It is reported that a search was conducted based on information that a man in his 20s was swept away by floodwaters in Aungmingalar ward, Aithapyu village, where floods were occurring. Similarly, it was reported that the body of a 69-year-old woman was found on the first floor of a submerged house in Ward 3, Lemyethna Township, Ayeyarwady Region, on the evening of August 3. Due to the floods occurring in Lemyethna Township, the number of flood victims had reached over 32,000 as of the evening of August 4, according to the records.
